Antonio Carnevale, local Mill Creek teen and recent graduate of Jackson High School, might not appear to be a young man climbing up the Fortune 500 ladder, but anyone who knows him would put their money squarely on him reaching the top in short order.
Antonio is an aspiring entrepreneur who started his own business called Venbit, and has been expanding it for the past year. He is the recipient of the Junior Achievement Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award for his outstanding efforts. He beat out not just the local state entries but took the entire Pacific Northwest from Idaho to Northern California. Antonio hit all of the criteria of the award in an outstanding fashion. He had already started his own business and was running it successfully. He proved his worth by creating applications, a cover page, submitted his business plan and balance sheet, and collectively it was more than sufficient to allow the judges to unanimously pick his work from among the many other promising start up businesses.
